MOULD MANUFACTURING

Reverse engineering, CAD/CAM design and precision manufacturing; the whole process runs at our own facility.

From reverse engineering to series production

Reverse engineering is carried out on existing parts, samples or technical documents, and dimensional analyses are performed. Based on the resulting data, CAD/CAM supported mould designs are created. Mould manufacturing is executed with high precision, taking material selection, tolerance control and process planning into account.

Mould manufacturing steps

Each step is built on the output of the previous one.

  1. Reverse Engineering

The existing part, sample or technical document is measured; geometry, sections and tolerance structure are turned into numerical data.

  2. CAD / CAM Mould Design

The mould design is created from the dimensional data. Runner, cooling and ejector layouts are planned together with the part geometry.

  3. Material and Process Plan

Mould steel, hardness values and machining sequence are set according to the part material, production volume and expected cycle life.

  4. Precision Machining and Tolerance Control

Every machined element passes tolerance control. The mould is assembled, a trial shot is taken, and it is not released until the dimensions hold.

Under one roof

All design and production processes are carried out in an integrated way within our own facility. Because the person designing and the person running the machine are under the same roof, revision time is shorter and responsibility is not divided.

  • Design In house
  • Machining On our own machines
  • Metrology Under our own control
  • Trial shot On our own injection presses
